Online Bids Still Open for Fur Ball

Thirty-four items available for early bidding ahead of Pawmetto Lifeline's annual Fur Ball this Saturday

Pawmetto Lifeline's is this Saturday at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln St., Columbia, and more than 200 items will be up for auction.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $100 each. Tickets can be purchased online.

Proceeds from the auction will help the organization in its mission to create a no-kill community in the Midlands and complete their new no-kill facility on Bower Parkway.

If you're anxious to see what those items are, Pawmetto Lifeline is offering you a chance to bid on a sample of those items online until 1 p.m. Friday.

Through Pawmetto Lifeline's online auction, 34 auction items are available for one to bid on to help the organization's furry friends find permanent homes.

Some of the top 10 auction items include a weekend at The Charleston Place Hotel, an autographed football from University of South Carolina Coach Steve Spurrier, and annual membership to Massage Envy and dinner for six at Alodia's Cucina Italiana.

Items not purchased online by Friday will be available for auction at the Fur Ball on Saturday. 

Attendees of the Fur Ball Moonlight Gala can expect to enjoy cocktails, heavy hors d'oeurves and plenty of entertainment in addition to the live and silent auctions.
