There are new places to shop and eat in the Irmo-Seven Oaks area.
There are several new businesses that are opening in the Irmo-Seven Oaks area. Some will be brand new to the Midlands and others have gone through a remodel. Here's a roundup of stores opening soon.
Openings
What: A beauty retail store offering women everthing they need from makeup and skincare to fragrances and haircare.

What: A juniors retail shop featuring the latest styles for girls, shoes, jewelry and accessories.
Where: (In the former Abercrombie & Fitch location)
Opening date: May 16
Bourbon Street Grille
What: A new food option in the Food Court. Bourbon Street is replacing Cajun Cafe.

Opening date: May 3
What: A self-serve frozen yogurt bar offering non-fat and low-fat frozen yogurt, smoothies, parfaits and other goodies.
Where: Harbison Court, 278-J Harbison Boulevard (Next to Barnes and Noble)
Opening date: Already opened
What: A designer shoe retail store for men and women.
Where: Harbison Court, 262 Harbison Boulevard (Near Marshalls and Anna's Linens)
Opening date: Already opened
Firestone on Harbison Boulevard and San Jose on Broad River Road are under construction. San Jose is currently located on Highway 76 and Marina Road.
Remodel/expansion
What: No description needed. Chick-fil-A will be remodeling starting after the store closes on April 28 and will reopen May 3.

Opening date: Reopening May 3
What: A personalized gifts store. The store moved to the JC Penney court area while the new location in the mall was completed.
Where:
Opening date: May 11 or 12
What: A retail store offering officially-licensed and branded college, and major professional sports teams accessories. Lids is under construction for an expanded Hat World location in the former Game Stop location.

Opening date: May 4
What: A retail offering custom T-shirts, band merchandise, gag gifts, room decor and more.

Opening date: Reopening May 12
Closings
Office Depot, the office supply and furniture store, is on June 16.
