Our Hands Together Artisan Market Closes

Local artisan store in the Ballentine/Irmo area closes its doors Saturday.

Our Hands Together Artisan Market, an arts and crafts store dedicated to showcasing the works of local artists, is closing its doors Saturday.

Since its opening in 2010, Our Hands Together has been a place where the community could find handmade items such as jewelry, pottery and paintings, and connect through art.

"After much thought, prayer, and struggle within my own head and heart, I have decided to close Our Hands Together," said Sheri Hood, the store's owner. "It is heart-wrenching, to say the least, for me to give this up, but I feel it is the right decision for me and my family."
