Petey had pretty much given up hope by the time Colleen Ford, a volunteer with F.I.D.O., rescued him from being euthanized. Petey was among five puppies that were at an animal facility in Raeford, NC. Petey had pneumonia and his belly was swollen from worms, but with F.I.D.O.’S help Petey has made a speedy recovery and is up-to-date on all his shots.
Petey is currently being fostered by Ford, but would love to find a permanent home. Petey’s breed is unknown, but he is thought to have some mix of the shepherd breed. He is about four months old.
This charismatic and friendly pup is available for adoption. If you would like to take Petey home, visit F.I.D.O’s website or you can catch him at PetSmart, 246 Harbison Blvd, Columbia, from 2pm – 5pm Sundays.
