A few pictures from the first day of the Irmo Okra Strut Festival.
Irmo's town park was full of life Friday night as Rob Crosby and Mustang Sally kicked off the first day of the Irmo Okra Strut Festival.
Today, the festival starts with the annual parade at 9 a.m. The route runs from CrossRoads Middle School to Irmo Elementary School.
Following the parade, guests can head over to the park for food, music, rides and more.

From 9 a.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday
- Columbia Avenue between Childs and Woodrow streets.
- Carlisle Street between Columbia and Lexington avenues
From 11 a.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday
- Lexington Avenue between Woodrow and Childs streets
- Mowers Street
Saturday from 8:50 a.m. to noon
- St. Andrews Road between Wescott Road and Lake Murray Boulevard for the Okra Strut Parade. Lake Murray Boulevard will remain OPEN during the parade.
