Photos: Residence Inn Opens In Irmo

Residence Inn, Irmo's first hotel, is now open.

The 100-room hotel located at 944 Lake Murray Boulevard features fully-equipped kitchens in each suite, an outdoor pool, fitness center and a meeting room.

The hotel also serves free breakfast to its guests each morning, Operations Manager Ashley Burt said.

And on Monday through Thursday, the hotel hosts a social in the lobby from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with free wine, beer and light dinner items for guests.

Burt said the hotel has been busy since opening on June 25.

"That's a good thing tough," Burt said. "We want guests to stay here."
