Police Charge Two Lexington County Residents in Storage Burglary

Lexington County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Lexington County residents they say broke into two storage buildings near Leesville on Tuesday.

Corenia Marie Hanna, 31, of Leesville, was charged with third-degree burglary and unlawful neglect of a child by a legal custodian.

Deputies also arrested Henry Stokes “Trey” Moseley, III, 33, of West Columbia, and charged him with third-degree burglary and receiving stolen goods.

Moseley faces additional charges for receiving stolen goods.

According to a previous warrant, Moseley allegedly received a trailer containing $4,000 worth of motorcycle equipment on July 16.

The trailer was stolen between July 13-15 from Covenant Community Church near Lexington. 

Police say Hanna and Moseley allegedly broke into two storage buildings on Tuesday at a private property on Cedar Grove Road and stole a metal detector, portable electric shop fan and a wood statuette.

Deputies later found the items, which were reported stolen, in a truck that Moseley drove. 

An arrest warrant also alleges that around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, a man who rented storage space at the property found Hanna trespassing on the property.

The man, who was armed with a weapon, confronted Hanna.

Police say Hanna had a child under the age of one with her when she and Moseley allegedly broke into the two storage buildings.

The child has been placed in his grandmother’s custody, according to the sheriff’s department. 

Both Hanna and Moseley were being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting bond hearings.
