Police: Same Suspects Wanted in Pizza Shop Robbery Sought in Neighboring County

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is looking for two men they say robbed a pizza place in the St. Andrews area and later committed a crime in Lexington County.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is looking for two men they say robbed a St. Andrews pizza place in June and committed a similiar crime in Lexington County. 

On June 12, deputies .

The men were seen on surveillance video entering Papa John's. One of the men handed a note to an employee that said he had a gun and demanded money.

The employee opened the cash register, and the suspects stole the money and fled the store in a white pick up truck, according to the department. 

Sheriff Leon Lott said the same suspects were involved in committing similar robberies in Lexington County and are wanted by the South Congaree Police Department and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.

Just after 8 p.m. on the same day, one of the men entered a South Congaree convenience store and used a stolen credit card.

The suspect can be seen in the attached surveillance video.

The man is described as a white male, slim build and possibly 6 feet 3 inches. He was wearing a cream colored hat, a red and white short sleeve shirt, dark color pants, and possibly beige color shoes.

The other suspect involved in the pizza shop robbery is described as a white male whose height is between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches. The suspect was wearing a Georgia ball cap, yellow polo shirt and blue jeans.
