The eight machines were found at three different locations in Lexington, West Columbia and near Irmo.

Lexington County investigators seized eight illegal video gambling machines from three different locations in the county on Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Investigators said they found and seized illegal video gambling devices from the following locations:

  • One Pace-O-Matic cabinet-style machine at Kwik Way convenience store at 4374 Augusta Road, Lexington. Investigators said the machine, which was delivered to the store on Monday, was found in a room at the rear of the store.
  • Five Pot-O-Gold cabinet-style machines were being operated at an unmarked office space at 2308 Airport Boulevard, West Columbia, next to The Rock bar. Police also seized $302 in cash. Investigators said patrons had access to dine-in and take-out menus for The Rock bar. The office space also had a refrigerator that contained alcoholic beverages.
  • Two Pot-O-Gold table-top and cabinet-style machines were found at WG's Bar located at 736-H St. Andrews Road near Irmo.

On Wednesday, a Lexington County magistrate determined that the eight devices were illegal video gambling devices, according to the Sheriff's Department.
