Poll: Is Marijuana a Big Problem in Lexington County?
Several arrests and seizures have been made recently in Lexington County in the fight against pot
There have been a lot of growers in recent weeks. The Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) has conducted an eight-month undercover investigation into the cannabis growing operation. In recent cases, seven people have been arrested and 51 pounds of marijuana that was packaged for distribution have been seized as well as 373 marijuana plants.
The pictures of marijuana that are included in this article are from the Lexington County Sheriff's Department. The images are of a home at 1640 Ben Franklin Road, Leesville, where NET officers on Thursday seized 73 marijuana plants in a pot growing operation.
