Power Outage at Chapin Elementary Causes Early Dismissal
Students will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m.
Chapin Elementary School students will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m. due to a power outage, Lexington-Richland 5 officials said Friday morning.
The school is currently without power and experts estimate that it can take as long as three hours to repair.
Buses will take students home beginning at 10:30 a.m. Parents of car riders should make arrangements to start picking up their child(ren) at 10:30 a.m.
