Prescription Drug Take Back Held Saturday
Local law enforcement agencies accepting unwanted prescription drugs

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency is offering you a chance to get rid of your unused and unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Unused and expired prescription drugs can be dropped off at law enforcement agencies. In Irmo, people can take the drugs to the Irmo Police Department, 1230 Columbia Avenue.

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is held to encourage people to safely dispose of their medications in order to help prevent drug abuse.
