Preseason Basketball Polls Rank Irmo Boys, Dutch Fork Girls No. 1
Irmo's Justin McKie and Dutch Fork's Alaina Coates come rank No. 1 on the Top 5 boys and girls seniors list.

The South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association's Class 4A preseason rankings have been released, and teams from Irmo and Dutch Fork high schools top the list of the Top 10 teams.
Irmo's boys and Dutch Fork's girls basketball teams are ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, according to rankings released at the annual preseason luncheon on Wednesday.
The Yellow Jackets lost to Gaffney, the Class 4A state champions, by one point in the quarterfinals last season while the Silver Foxes beat Orangeburg-Wilkinson to claim the state championship title.

Head coaches from Irmo and Dutch Fork are Coach Tim Whipple and Coach Faye Norris, respectively.

The association also released names of the top senior players.
Irmo's Justin McKie and Dutch Fork's Alaina Coates come in at No. 1 on the Top 5 list.
Both McKie and Coates committed to play at the University of South Carolina.
The two are also listed for the Elite boys and girls.
