Public's Help Needed to Catch Suspect in Multiple Vehicle Break-ins

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect shown in surveillance photographs and wanted multiple vehicle break-ins in the Forty Love Point neighborhood.
The suspect is wanted for larceny, theft from a motor vehicle and tampering with an automobile, according to a Sheriff’s Department release.
Between 10 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday, an unknown suspect or suspects entered multiple vehicles in the Forty Love Point neighborhood and either stole items from or rummaged through the vehicles, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in the release.

The suspect or suspects were caught on surveillance video stealing from or searching through vehicles on Forty Love Point, Hilton Village Drive and the Wonder Drive.
The following was stolen from the vehicles:

- A manicure set, which was located a few feet away from the vehicle in Forty Love Point.
- A a silver Apple iPod, a brown leather purse, bank cards, credit cards, a South Carolina driver's license, and social security card.
- A silver Apple iPod Touch with clear cover, prescription medications, and bank checks.
- A laptop, a black Ariel HP, and a black Maglite.
