Quail Valley Boil Water Alert Lifted
A boil water advisory issued Wednesday for residents in part of Quail Valley has been lifted.

The boil water advisory issued for the Quail Valley area near Harbison has been lifted.
Residents no longer have to boil water for use after Columbia Water Works crews fixed an 8-inch water line break.
The area under the alert included water customers of Brandywine Drive, Quail Valley East from Brandywine Drive to Quail Valley West, Quail Valley West from Deer Trail to Quail Valley East, Beaver Dam Road from Deer Trail to Railfence Drive, and Railfence Drive.

Officials said bacteriological samples collected and analyzed after an intense flushing of the distribution system indicate the water is safe to use for drinking and cooking.
