We have relaunched our Readers' Choice contest with dozens of new categories, including hot dogs.
Hot dogs are as American as apple pie.
It’s definitely time to fire up the grill and what food is more hassle-free than the hot dog. Loved by kids and adults, hot dogs are a staple of most families.
Whether you like with chili, onions and mustard or covered with cheese and relish, the hot dog can be served anywhere from your backyard to the ballpark.
But who has the "Best Hot Dog" in Irmo, Lexington, Spring Valley or St. Andrews? Nominate your favorite place in the comments below, as Patch unveils Readers' Choice 2012.

Voting for Readers’ Choice 2012 will begin in late July and winners will be announced in August.
