Red Cross Issues Emergency Call for Blood Donors
Several blood drives are scheduled in the Irmo area for Thursday and Friday.
The American Red Cross is in critical need of blood donations. The non-profit says they've received fewer donations than usual in June.
The Red Cross is urging people to donate during one of several blood drives in the Irmo area over the next few days.
The blood drives are scheduled for the following times and places:
Wednesday, July 10
- Riverland Hills Baptist Church at 201 Lake Murray Boulevard from 2 to 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 11
- First Baptist Church of Irmo at 7068 Nursery Road from 2 to 7 p.m.
- Browning Business Center at 1628 Browning Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Regal Columbiana Grande, 1250 Bower Pkwy 2 – 7pm
- Northwest YMCA (Bloodmobile) at 1501 Kennerly Road from 2 to 7 p.m.
