Report: Firearms, Television Stolen in Irmo Home Burglary
Irmo Police officers responded to a burglary at a home on Charing Cross Road on April 11.

An unknown suspect stole several firearms and a flat screen television from a home in the Old Friarsgate neighborhood in Irmo.
According to an incident report from the Irmo Police Department, officers responded to a burglary at a home on Charing Cross Road on April 11.
The victim's granddaughter arrived at the home just before 4 p.m. to find the door to the residence open. Once at home, the victim contacted authorities.

The following items were determined to have been stolen from the home: a 42-inch flat screen TV and six rifles, a .38-caliber revolver and a 9 mm Ruger P-85 — all of which were in a gun safe.
The victim told the officer that a jewelry box that was kept on a dresser was also open. She was unsure at the time of whether any of its contents were removed.

A witness did report seeing a black, four-door BMW parked in the driveway between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m, but was unable to get the vehicle's tag, the report said.
