Report: Judge May Not Allow Budgeting Notes in Brett Parker's Federal Gambling Trial
A judge says she will consider the notes again during the trial, which starts Sept. 16, according to The State.

A federal judge is hesitant to allow Tammy Parker's handwritten budgeting notes to be used as evidence in the upcoming gambling trial of Brett Parker and two other men, according to a report.
In the budgeting notes, Brett Parker's wife, Tammy Parker, lists family income from "booking," according to a report from The State. But a judge told U.S. Assistant Attorney Winston Holliday that "booking" could have referred to Tammy Parker's income from booking shows with her band.

Brett Parker, his father Jack Parker and Douglas E. Taylor are facing federal gambling charges after deputies uncovered a Columbia-area gambling ring while investigating the death of Parker's wife and friend Bryan Capnerhurst last year.
Brett Parker was found guilty of two counts of murder in May.
The federal gambling trial is set to start Sept. 16.
