Report: Robber Steals $1,000 From Irmo Dollar Tree
Police say a man dressed in black stole the nightly deposit bag from an employee at the store.

Irmo Police are looking for a man they say robbed a Dollar Tree employee and got away with the store's nightly deposit of more than $1,000.
The incident happened just after 8 p.m. on June 9 at the Dutch Fork Road store in the shopping center near Walmart, according to a police report.
The employee told officers she and another employee were walking out of the store after closing, according to the report. When she was getting in her car, a man dressed in black came from the side of the building, pushed her into the car, snatched the bag with the money and ran back around the corner.
The bag contained a total of $1,168.02, according to the report.
The employee also told officers the man was wearing all black, including a hoodie, according to the report. The other employee told officers the man was about 5 feet 6 inches tall.
