Richland County Offices And Drop-Off Sites Are Closed On Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Schedules for curbside trash and recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday but could be delayed because of road conditions.

Richland County Government facilities will operate on altered schedules around the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

Sunday, Jan. 16
On Sunday, both the County’s Clemson Road Drop-off Recycling Site and the Lower Richland Drop-off Center will close because of the potential for hazardous winter weather.

Monday, Jan. 17
County Government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 18.
The County’s C&D Landfill and Lower Richland Drop-off Center will also be closed Monday. Schedules for curbside trash and recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday but could be delayed because of road conditions due to the weather.
While offices are closed, residents can access many services on Richland County’s website: www.richlandcountysc.gov, including those by the Auditor, Treasurer, Assessor and other offices.
