Richland County Offices, Drop-Off Sites To Close For Christmas

Richland County Government offices and drop-off sites will operate on altered schedules because of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

County Government offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 24, Monday, Dec. 27 and Tuesday, Dec. 28 to observe Christmas and will reopen Wednesday, Dec. 29.

The County’s C&D Landfill also will be closed Dec. 24-28. The Lower Richland Drop-off Center and Clemson Road Drop-off Recycling Site will be closed Dec. 24-26 and will reopen for normal hours on Dec. 27. Curbside trash collection will not be affected.

Richland County’s Jim Hamilton-L.B. Owens Airport will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Day.

While offices are closed, residents can access many services on Richland County’s website: www.richlandcountysc.gov, including those by the Auditor, Treasurer, Assessor and other offices.
