Cocky Reading Express at Harbison West and Seven Oaks elementary schools
The Cocky Reading Express stopped by Harbison West Elementary to visit with kindergarten and first-grade students.
Five students from the University of South Carolina read to the students. One book was interactive involving several students from the audience. One of the favorites was "Pete the Cat." After the program, each student was given a "Pete the Cat" book to take home. Mrs. Williams, a kindergarten teacher, said, "The program was amazing. It kept the students attention and they loved participating."
Cocky Reading Express also visited with students at Seven Oaks Elementary School.
