School News: Leaphart Hosts LEAP Lego Invitational

Twelve First Lego League teams from across the state competed in the Robot Games held at Leaphart Elementary School.

On Nov. 3, Leaphart Elementary School hosted the 2nd annual LEAP Lego Invitational.

Twelve First Lego League teams from across the state competed in the Robot Games.

Teams were expected to build and program an autonomous (no remote control) robot to score points by performing mission tasks. These missions are inspired by this year’s theme, Senior Solutions. Missions require the robot to navigate, capture, transport, or deliver objects. The robot has 2 ½ minutes to complete as many missions as possible.
