Seven Oaks Elementary Receives Whole Child Award
Seven Oaks Elementary School was awarded a $1,000 grant to support the school's whole child initiatives.

The South Carolina Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (SC-ASCD) has named a recipient of the Whole Child Award in the category of safe and supported schools.
The Whole Child Award is presented in conjunction with the national organization, ASCD, and seeks to help schools ensure that students are safe, healthy, supported, challenged and engaged as they enter school each day so they are ready to learn.
“Seven Oaks Elementary is very proud to receive this award," school principal Ann Copelan said. "Our teachers and staff strive to ensure every child is safe and supported through our many academic, after school, parenting, mentoring, PBIS and reading buddies programs."
