Sheriff: Citizens Detain Man Suspected of 3 Vehicle Break-ins
Lexington County deputies arrested a 34-year-old man accused of breaking into three vehicles on Foxfire Drive in Columbia.

A Columbia man was arrested and charged on Tuesday with breaking into three motor vehicles outside homes on Foxfire Drive, according to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
Timothy Paul Henderson, 34, is accused of unlawfully entering a 1992 Buick Sentry, a 2001 Nissan Maxima and a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse — all of which were parked outside homes on Foxfire Drive in Columbia, deputies said.
Residents saw Henderson attempting to enter the vehicles by force and contacted the sheriff’s department.

Deputies arrived to find Henderson had been detained by citizens, according to a news release.
Henderson was being held on Wednesday at the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
