Sheriff: Fans, AC Units Available to County Residents in Need
The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is helping residents of the county stay cool during the summer months.
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is helping county residents in need of assistance beat the summer heat by providing free fans and air-conditioning units.
The department is also accepting donations of fans and air-conditioning units. Donations can be made at the Lexington County James R. Metts Law Enforcement Complex, 521 Gibson Road, Lexington.
To obtain a fan or air-conditioning unit or to make a donation, contact Sgt. Diane Paavel at 803-785-2504 or email at dpaavel@lcsd.sc.gov.
