Sheriff: Man Wanted in Attempted Robbery of Lexington Store
The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is looking for a white male who attempted to rob a Lexington convenience store with a knife.
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man who attempted to rob a cashier at a Lexington convenience store.
Detectives say around 10 p.m. on April 23, a man with a knife attempted to rob Kent’s Corner at 5846 Edmund Highway in Lexington but left the store without taking anything.
In the attached police report, the responding officer said an unknown white male entered the store and after standing in line the suspect pulled out a knife, reaching across the counter and pointed it at a cashier.

A jacketed yet unidentified member of the Hell's Angels motorcycle club, who was standing in line behind the suspect, pulled out a collapsible baton and chased the suspect from the store, according to the report.
Surveillance video shows an unknown white male wearing a camouflage military style pants, black jacket and gloves, military style boots, a skull cap, red bandanna and a camouflage hat.

The suspect is estimated to be between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches, and weighing between 220-230 pounds.
The knife was described as a military or hunting knife with a taped red handle.
