Sheriff: Three Video Poker Machines Seized from Lexington County Store
Three video poker machines were seized by state, local law enforcement at a convenience store in Lexington County.

Three video gambling machines that were determined to be illegal under South Carolina's video poker law were seized from a Lexington County convenience store, the Lexington County Sheriff's Department announced Wednesday.
Lexington County Sheriff’s narcotics investigators and State Law Enforcement Division agents seized three table-top Pot-O-Gold video poker machines on Tuesday from an El Cheapo convenience store at 3862 Highway 321, according to a news release.
The machines were in a back room that had a hand-written “Employees Only” sign posted on the door.

Officers say players who won the card games were given credits that they exchanged for items at the store.
A Lexington County magistrate on Wednesday ruled that the three machines are illegal video gambling devices, according to the release.
