Former University of South Carolina baseball standout Jackie Bradley Jr. has impressed many during the Boston Red Sox camp in Florida.
The 22-year-old outfielder was selected 40th overall by the Red Sox in the 2011 Major League Baseball First-Year Player draft and is now ranked the Red Sox's No. 2 prospect.
Bradley, who is hitting .444, is also ranked No. 32 on MLB.com's 2013 100 Prospects Watch List.

Several media reports — including this one from the Boston Globe — suggest Bradley should start the season with the Red Sox since David Ortiz will not be ready to play for the Opening Day after an Achiles injury last season.
The Red Sox's first game is against the New York Yankees on Monday, April 1.
