State Agency Plans For Illegal Video Poker Demise
End of illegal video poker machines a top priority for State Law Enforcement Division head

The State newspaper in Columbia reported on Tuesday that Mark Keel, chief of the State Law Enforcement Division, is working on a plan to stop the illegal use of video poker machines in convenience stores and elsewhere.
The use of video poker machines was banned statewide beginning in 2000. Then it was said the unregulated and untaxed games were the state's biggest industry, bringing in $3 billion a year.
No details about the specifics of the plan were given Tuesday.
