Update: No Delays Expected Tuesday for Dutch Fork High
All Monday evening activities at Dutch Fork High School have been canceled, including Interim Pick Up.

Update (6 p.m.): Dutch Fork High School is expected to operate as normal Tuesday after a bomb threat caused students and staff to evacuate the campus Monday afternoon.
Buddy Price, director of community services, said the school district was still waiting Monday evening for the entire school to be cleared, but the district doesn't expect any delays for the school on Tuesday.
"We're still waiting on the sheriff's department to get back in the building, but we don't expect that to carry on until tomorrow," Price said. "We expect it to be a regular school day."

Price said the district is expecting to get that release any time.
"It's just a big building and it takes a while to go through it," he said.

A bomb threat was called into the Richland County Sheriff's Department about 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Price said.
Students and staff were evacuated to the Dutch Fork Middle School campus until the end of the school day.
Update (4:32 p.m.): Dutch Fork High School students are allowed to access their vehicles on the high school campus after the school received a bomb threat Monday afternoon.
All evening activities at Dutch Fork High School have been canceled, including Interim Pick Up.
School officials say parents can pick up students from the Dutch Fork Middle School campus.
Origingal story: Students at Dutch Fork High School were evacuated after the school received a bomb threat Monday afternoon, Michele Foster, District 5’s community services specialist said.
Dutch Fork high students have been evacuated to the Dutch Fork Middle School campus. All students and staff are reported to be safe, Foster said.
Richland County Sheriff’s Department and the State Law Enforcement Division are checking the buildings at Dutch Fork High.
Students are expected to be dismissed at their regular time from the Dutch Fork Middle School campus, Foster said.
