Suspect Sought in Columbia Bank Robbery

Columbia Police need your help identifying a man that robbed a bank near Irmo.

Columbia Police are searching for man they say robbed a local bank Monday morning.

The robbery occurred around 9:30 a.m. Monday at TD Bank located at 7330 Broad River Road near Kennerly Road. 

The suspect entered the bank and presented a gun at a teller demanding money, police said.

The suspect, who stole an undisclosed amount of money, left in a small, gray or silver 4-door sedan that possibly had one or more missing hubcaps, the department said.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing all black except for a short-sleeve orange T-shirt over a black long-sleeve shirt.

He also wore a black baseball cap, black pants, black shoes, black gloves and a black bandanna that covered the lower part of his face.

No one was injured during the incident, according to the department.
