Third Arrest Made in Newberry High Bomb Threat
A 16-year-old male, whose name is not released because of his age, was charged with conveying a bomb threat, according to a news release.

A third teenager was arrested Thursday in connection with a bomb threat that caused students and faculty at Newberry High to evacuate Monday, the Newberry County Sheriff's Office said.

The teen was taken to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice where he will be held awaiting a detention hearing.

Authorities say the three acted together in conveying the threat, the release said.
Newberry High was evacuated Monday morning after the bomb threat was called in to the school's main office line. Students were sent to another school while authorities searched the campus.
