Thirteen District 5 Students Named to State Elementary Honor Choir

Thirteen students in Lexington-Richland Five have been named members of the 2013 South Carolina Elementary Honor Choir.

Students who auditioned and were selected as part of the choir include:

Ballentine Elementary: Olivia Grace Calhou, Shannon Goss, Macey Campanella, Veronique Chayer, Sarah Kate Barrier and Libby Wollman 

H. E. Corley Elementary: Tayauna Lee, Kaylie McKie and Brenea Pushia-Stokes

Irmo Elementary: Mary Rose Robinson

Leaphart Elementary: Ehrial Wagstaff

Seven Oaks Elementary - Seth Bailey and Jes Vinkemulder

The Honor Choir, which began in 1998, promotes choral singing at the elementary level and works to raise the quality of already existing elementary choral program. It's sponsored by the South Carolina Music Educators Association.
