Tornado Reported in Richland County
The National Weather Service in Columbia confirms a tornado touched down in Richland County Saturday.
An EF0 tornado with winds estimated to be near 80 miles per hour touched down in Richland County Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The tornado touched down just west of Monticello Road near the intersection of Houston Street and Bishop Avenue.
There were some trees and large branches that fell, which caused minor damage to a mobile home.
