Tornado Reported Near Lexington, Aiken County Line
The National Weather Service confirmed tornado touched down near Lexington and Aiken counties.

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down near Lexington and Aiken counties shortly after 1 p.m. Friday, according to the South Carolina Emergency Management Division.
In a report from The State, the tornado touched down near the intersection of Sand Dam and Cline Taylor roads. The tornado then moved east-northeast into Lexington County.
While the tornado watch has been canceled, a flood advisory is still in effect until 4:30 p.m. for areas in Lexington and Richland counties.

According to the National Weather Service, you can expect an additional quarter to half an inch of rain.
A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent, according to the alert.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is reporting multiple accidents in the area.
Terrace View and Cofield Drive in West Columbia was reported closed due to flooding.
