First reading of an ordinance to annex Lexington-Richland 5's district office was approved at a regular meeting Tuesday night.  The district made the request to incorporate into the town, Irmo Town administrator Bob Brown said. The district office is located at 1020 Ducth Fork Road, Irmo.  Council members also approved granting an easement to<a href="http://irmodentist.com/irmoj/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Irmo Smiles Dentistry</a> for landscaping and constructing a curb on Lexington Avenue. Irmo Smiles is opening a new location near Irmo Elementary School in October.
