Guests of Thursday's event was mixed with strong supporters and those still making their decision on the candidate of their choice.

"I’m looking for a true leader, which Perry has proven great leadership as a governor, and I’m looking for someone who can mix things up a bit and have new ideas," said Blythewood resident Lauren Wells.

"I do have concerns about some of his stance on things. I’m not sold on him. I’m not 100 percent sold on anybody."
