A new vegan cafe is set to open in the Irmo area.
Ankh Life International Vegan Cafe, a "sister restaurant" to Lambs Bread Vegan Cafe located on Main Street in Columbia, is scheduled to open May 15.
The new cafe will open in the old Luce Cucina Italiana restaurant located at 6164 St. Andrews Road.

According to the cafe's Facebook page, Ankh Life will serve organic, locally-grown "home-cooked" vegan meals for lunch and dinner.
