Veterans Day Closings
Veterans Day is Sunday but there are several businesses and government offices observing the day on Monday.
Sunday is Veterans Day, and there are several places in the area that will be closed on Monday to observe the day honoring those who've served in the military.
- Federal offices
- State offices
- Post offices
- Department of Motor Vehicles' offices
- Richland County offices. The Richland County C&D landfill and the Lower Richland drop off site will be closed. Garbage service will run as usual.
- Lexington County offices
- West Columbia (city hall) offices
- Town of Lexington. Solid Waste Collection will run on its normal schedule.
- Cayce offices
- Some banks and credit unions (Check with your branch to verify hours of operation for Monday.)
- Lexington County Public Library System
- All Richland County Recreation Commission facilities. LinRick Golf Course will be open.
