Brett Parker is on trial for the April 2012 shootings of his wife and friend.

Brett Parker, an Irmo man on trial for double-murder, will be back in court Monday as week three of his trial starts.
Dozens of deputies have testified so far about the crime scene, DNA evidence and technical evidence.
The jury also heard testimony last week from family friends of Brett Parker's wife, Tammy Parker, and from the medical examiner who did the autopsies on Tammy Parker and Bryan Capnerhurst, Brett Parker's friend and gambling partner.

Tammy Parker and Capnerhurst were found shot dead in the Parkers' Ascot Estates home in April 2012.
Prosecutors say the shootings were part of a plan for Brett Parker to collect more than $1 million in insurance money to pay off his gambling debt and get out of his marriage to Tammy Parker.
