• Charleston County Main Library will be temporarily moved to upper peninsula during renovations (postandcourier.com) — Charleston County’s main library on Calhoun Street will temporarily move to Morrison Drive during an 18‑month renovation that reshuffles youth and adult spaces and upgrades technology. For James Island readers, it’s part of the same 2014 referendum that funded the Baxter-Patrick James Island Library, showing how countywide improvements continue to shape where and how you access library services.
