Bass Tournament to Benefit Law Officers' Association

The tournament offers cash prizes to first, second and third-place winners.

The 2013 South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers' Foundation Bass Tournament will be held March 29 at Billy Dreher Island on Lake Murray.

All tournament proceeds will benefit the Ben Willoughby Officer Fund, which provides financial assistance to S.C. Law Enforcement Officers' Association members who are in need ofassistance. Donations can be considered tax-deductible.

There will be a guaranteed first prize of $1,000, second prize of $500 and third prize of $250.

The registration fee covers a two-person team and includes breakfast and lunch as well as chances at door prizes.

Participants who register prior to March 20 can take advantage of an early registration fee of $100 for a two-person team. Participants who register after March 20 will be charged a fee of $125 fora two-person team.
