Lexington man killed, another injured in head-on collision Dec. 20 (lexingtonchronicle.com) — A 62-year-old Lexington man, Michael Leon Rather, died after a head-on collision Saturday on Muddy Springs Road near Longs Pond Road and I-20 in the Lexington area. Another driver was injured, and both the Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the crash.
