Construction Equipment Stolen, Parts Stripped

Lexington Police are asking for the public's help finding the people who stole a piece of construction equipment from a site on Sunset Boulevard.

Lexington Police are looking for two people who they say stole a piece of construction equipment Sunday from a site on Sunset Boulevard.

The people drove a yellow Komatsu skid steer from the construction site to another location around 6:20 p.m., removed parts from it and left it behind, police say.

Surveillance video shows the two people drive up in a Gold Chrysler minivan and walk around the area and the skid steer Saturday evening, according to police. The video shows the same van return Sunday not long before the skid steer was stolen.
