Deputies Release Sketch of Man Who Tried to Pick Up Teen at Bus Stop

The man offered a 14-year-old girl a ride at a bus stop in Lexington County Wednesday.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department released a composite sketch of a man who they say tried to pick up a teen Wednesday at a bus stop on Edmund Highway.

The 14-year-old girl worked with a sketch artist from the S.C. Law Enforcement Division to create a drawing of the man.

She described the man as a white, heavy-set, older man with shoulder-length hair and a mullet cut. He also had a long, gray beard and spoke in a deep voice. The girl told deputies he was wearing glasses and a white, collared shirt.
