Gilbert Middle Teacher Wins Regional Award

Daphne Dubose was named Middle Level Adviser of the Year by the S.C. Association of Student Councils.

Gilbert Middle teacher Daphne Dubose was recently named the 2013 S.C. Association of Student Councils Middle Level Adviser of the Year.

Dubose also won the title for Region 3, which includes Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

As a region winner, she now competes for the Warren E. Shull National Middle Level Adviser of the Year. The winner will be announced at the National Association of Student Councils National Conference in Las Vegas in June.
