"Harlem Shake" dance videos originated with comedian and video blogger Filthy Frank. In January, he uploaded a video of people dancing in costume to the song "Harlem Shake" by Baauer, and it quickly went viral.Â
Even the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce filmed a "Harlem Shake" video to promote its Oyster Roast on March 28 at the Saluda River Club.
Most "Harlem Shake" videos start with a single person in costume dancing. When the music picks up, the video switches to whole crowd of costumed people dancing.
Lexington's video starts a person in costume dancing near the pool table at Groucho's. The large crowd of dancers was filmed in the school's gym.Â
White Knoll's video was filmed entirely in the school's gym.Â
Which video is your favorite? White Knoll's or Lexington's?
