Judy's Cafe & Bakery in Lexington Closes

Judy Brown, owner of Judy's Cafe & Bakery, is shutting the doors at her restaurant due to personal health issues, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. 

The restaurant, which served home-cooked, Southern meals and made-from-scratch desserts, closed last week. It was located in the Lexington Pavillion shopping center near Target and Best Buy on Sunset Boulevard.

"To all of our customers, thank you for letting us be a part of your lives," Judy posted on the restaurant's Facebook page. "It was an honor and a privilege to serve you! I loved getting to know you and I thank you for all of the well wishes."

Judy's Cafe & Bakery opened in May 2012.
